INTEGRITY TESTS

In order to provide the most efficient and rigorous testing regime, MCD undertakes crack detection of individual plates.
This involves injecting- section by section - a quantity of helium gas into one of the channels of the plate heat exchanger.
A dedicated sensor is then used to detect cracks.

The benefits of this method are:
Helium is a neutral gas which does not generate pollution
ideal for food applications
Immediate results
